Our Story
In early 2012 the Directors chose to take control of their own destiny and shape an organisation exactly the way they wanted to. With this decision, M+G Electrical + Communications was founded.
Since then M+G has quickly become recognised as a quality Mid-Tier Electrical + Communications company known for finishing its commitments “On Time, On Budget + With Care”.
M+G offer a superior service both practically and administratively to a select group of Retail, Government, Health and Private clients. Based in Melbourne’s northern suburbs but available to work all over Victoria and Australia, M+G focuses its attention on Commercial Electrical Installations, Service and Maintenance works.

Carl Sutton
General Manager / Director
Associated with the wider Electrical Industry for over 25 years, Carl brings a wealth of Business Management Knowledge to M+G having successfully undertaken General Management roles across multiple facets of the Electrical Industry. Carl's sound people management skills and business 'know how' positions M+G perfectly for continued growth and success.

Construction Manager / Director
Sam has previously worked for two of the most reputable mid-tier electrical contractors in Victoria for the last 20 years, gaining a wealth of experience as a working Supervisor and Senior Serviceman. Sam's expertise lies in Service + Installation Works, Health Institutions, Sports Ground Lighting and the company's OH+S management commitments.

Programmed Maintenance / Director
Duncan is the 'older and wiser' head at M+G with over 35 years in the electrical industry. Duncan has developed high level administrative and estimating skills and is the technical 'go to man' in both the office and in the field. His expertise around Industrial, Fire Detection, EWIS, PA, MATV and most other ELV Cabling installations.

Chris has had a diverse career as an A Grade Electrician before coming on board as a Project Manager in 2024. His experience in the retail sector, as well as previous management experience in the electrical industry, have helped Chris to hit the ground running. Always a calm influence on the work environment, Chris has settled in with ease.
